Ah, my first stationery show. Boy am I tired!! I'll go more into it later but I had a great show and a wonderful time. You read these blogs about how nice everyone is at the stationery show but it's not until you meet them that you realize...it's true. Anyway let me give you a rundown on my setup...for the first show I chose to keep expenses low and went with a clean look in a neutral palette. My booth mate C.Marie had a small collection of perfume and I brought an edited selection of cards and my drawer paper and tea towels. Our floor was "leather" contact paper, my shelving is from ikea, and Carolyn and I collaborated on getting matching frames also from Ikea to create a cohesive looking booth. I hoped that the product would speak for itself in a world full of stationery that made me wish I had a store. It definitely did and I'm very happy with the results of stores I met and especially press. It was great also to meet people who had heard of the line before...as I'm here printing my heart out it's nice to get that bit of recognition. I'll have new products and images up on the site as soon as possible.
